Terms of Service
In short
All of Our Hearts is for people 13 and older in the US. Under 18, a parent or guardian is responsible for the account. The age line is about the account and buying coins, not the stories.
Every story stays between G and PG-13. The people and events are made up, and the voices are made with AI.
Coins have no cash value, and they never expire. You see a season’s whole price before you start.
Coins are bought through the App Store or Google Play, and refunds go through the store. Deleting your account deletes your coins and unlocks.
Listen and read for yourself. Please don’t copy, share or sell our stories.
All of Our Hearts is run by Arc Line and North, LLC. Questions: hello@aooh.app
1. About these terms
All of Our Hearts is run by Arc Line and North, LLC (“we” and “us”). These terms cover the All of Our Hearts app for iPhone and Android, and this website, aooh.app. Using either means you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.
If a new feature comes with rules of its own, we’ll show them with it, and they become part of these terms.
All of Our Hearts is for your own personal use, not for business.
2. Who can use it
You must be 13 or older and live in the United States to use All of Our Hearts.
If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. They’re responsible for your account and for every coin bought on it. Coins are bought through the store, where a parent can approve purchases: Ask to Buy on Apple, and Google Play’s purchase approval and Family Link on Android.
Nobody under 13 may use All of Our Hearts. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we close it and delete what we hold for it.
The age line is about the account and the money: having an account, buying coins and agreeing to these terms. It isn’t about the stories: every story stays between G and PG-13.
Parental controls can help keep any app away from a child. On iPhone, Apple’s Screen Time can limit or block apps, All of Our Hearts included, and Ask to Buy lets a parent approve purchases. On Android, Google’s Family Link can limit or block apps, All of Our Hearts included, and lets a parent approve purchases on Google Play. Other apps and services can filter what a child sees online.
3. Your account
You can listen without signing in. When you first buy coins or unlock an episode, the app makes a guest account for you. Signing in, with Apple, with Google, or with your email address and a six-digit code we send you, keeps your coins and episodes with you on any phone.
One account per person. Keep your sign-in to yourself, and don’t share, sell or hand over your account. You’re responsible for what happens on it. If you think someone else is using it, write to us at hello@aooh.app.
We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms. What happens then is under Deleting or closing an account.
4. Our stories
Our stories are about real life, with love at the center: love, family and the hard things people work through together. Every story stays within what a film rated G, PG or PG-13 would show. They’re never explicit and never gory. There’s no abuse of any kind, no bad language and no careless use of God’s name.
When you unlock an episode, it downloads to your phone and plays from there. Each episode can be heard or read, and one unlock opens both. You need your own phone and internet connection, and any data charges are yours.
Unless you switch it off (Account, then Settings, then Share anonymous listening stats), the app sends us usage data, like what you play and how far you listen, so we can make better stories. It’s never tied to your name, email or account. Our Privacy Policy says what it holds.
The stories, audio, reading versions, art and names are ours, or used with permission. Nothing in these terms makes them yours. We may add, change or take down episodes and series.
If we change or take down an episode or a season, what you unlocked stays yours and stays saved on your phone, and we’ll tell you in the app. A fix to an episode comes as a new version, never as a silent change to what you bought.
5. What you may do with them
You may listen to and read the episodes you’ve unlocked, and anything we offer on this website, for your own personal enjoyment, and share links to our pages. This permission is yours alone: you can’t pass it on, and it ends if your account ends or you break these terms.
Please don’t copy, re-upload, sell, broadcast or publish our audio, reading versions or scripts, or use them in a business. Don’t remove or change their AI labels, or any hidden marks or credits the audio carries, and don’t use them to train or build AI models or voices.
6. Things you send us
For now, there’s nowhere in All of Our Hearts to post or upload anything of your own.
If you send us an idea, a suggestion or feedback, we may use it freely, without owing you payment or credit.
If we ever let you share your own words or stories, you’ll keep owning what you make, and you’ll let us show it in All of Our Hearts and use it to run the app. It must follow the same rules as our own stories. We decide what appears, and we may decline or take down anything, judging the work and never the person. We’ll update these terms before that starts.
7. How the stories are made
Our stories are written with AI and edited by our team, and the voices are made with AI. The people and events are made up, and any likeness to real people is chance.
There are no AI tools in the app for you to use.
8. Coins
Coins are how you unlock episodes. They’re a virtual currency for use only inside All of Our Hearts. They have no cash value and aren’t money, and they can’t be cashed out, sold or moved to anyone else. If you had coins before you signed in, signing in moves them into your account.
There are two kinds. Standard coins are the coins you buy, in packs, through the store you got the app from, Apple’s App Store or Google Play, as in-app purchases. Any extra coins that come with a bigger pack are part of that pack, so they’re standard coins too.
Gift coins are any coins we give you rather than sell you. We decide when to give them, and how many. They have no cash value, and they’re never refundable.
Coins are spent only when you choose to unlock an episode. None of your coins expire, bought or given. Your balance, and every coin in and out, is on the Account tab under Coin history.
We may change how coins work. A change never makes your coins expire, and never takes back episodes you’ve unlocked. If we ever stop offering coins, or close All of Our Hearts, we’ll tell you ahead of time in the app and on this site. Coins left in an account then have no cash value, and nothing is paid for them, unless the law says otherwise.
9. Prices and refunds
Each season shows its whole price in coins before you start. Coins are bought one pack at a time, and nothing renews.
The prices of coin packs and episodes may change. A change never touches coins you already have or episodes you’ve already unlocked, and a season you’ve started doesn’t go up in price.
Buy coins only with a store account, and a way to pay, that you’re allowed to use.
If you’re under 18, buy coins only with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
You buy coins through the store you got the app from, Apple’s App Store or Google Play, as in-app purchases. The store handles the payment and any refund, and the store’s own terms apply to the purchase. We never take your card. Refund requests go to the store: on iPhone, the Request a refund button in the app’s coin store opens Apple’s page, reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android, Google Play’s refund page.
If the store refunds a pack, that pack’s coins, extras included, come off your balance. If you’ve already spent them on episodes, those episodes stay yours, and we don’t take anything else back: your balance never goes below zero.
Coins you spend on an unlock don’t come back to your balance, though whether a pack is refunded is still the store’s decision. Gift coins are never refundable. If coins you bought don’t arrive, tap Restore purchases. If an unlock goes wrong, write to us at hello@aooh.app and we’ll put it right.
10. House rules
Use All of Our Hearts lawfully, and only as these terms allow.
Don’t get around the locks, or copy or share the episodes or their download links. Don’t use bots, scrapers or other automated tools on the app or the site. Don’t hack, overload or take apart either one, or try to reach the parts that aren’t yours. Don’t make extra accounts, or use tricks, to collect gift coins. Don’t pretend to be someone else, or use someone’s account without their permission.
If you find a bug, or a gap in how coins or unlocks work, please tell us, and don’t use it.
If an account breaks these rules, we may take back coins gained by breaking them, and pause or close the account.
11. Messages from us
We send only the messages your account needs, like your six-digit sign-in code. We tell you about changes to your account, your coins or these terms in the app and on this site, and a notice from us takes effect when it appears there.
News of new episodes comes only if you choose it, by joining our email list on this site. It’s never more than one email a week, and you can leave the list in one tap. Our Privacy Policy explains what we keep.
12. Other companies
There are no ads in All of Our Hearts, and nothing is sold on this website. Coins are bought only in the app, through the store you got the app from, Apple’s App Store or Google Play, as in-app purchases. That store’s terms also apply when you get the app and buy coins.
Links to other sites, like our pages on social media, go to companies we don’t run. Their own terms apply there, and we aren’t responsible for them.
Our posts and ads show All of Our Hearts as it was when we made them, and the app may have changed since.
13. If you think we’ve used your work
We respect other people’s work. If you believe something in All of Our Hearts copies yours, write to us at hello@aooh.app with: your name and how to reach you; the work you own; where it is in All of Our Hearts; a statement that you believe in good faith its use isn’t allowed; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that what you’ve told us is true and that you own the work or may act for its owner; and your signature (typing your full name is fine). The same goes for a name or mark you own.
We’ll look into it, and take it down if it should come down. Knowingly making a false claim can make you responsible for the harm it causes.
14. Deleting or closing an account
You can delete your account any time, in the app: Account, then Delete account. It happens right away when you’re online. If the connection drops partway, it finishes the next time the app is online. It can’t be undone.
Deleting your account deletes every coin in it, standard and gift, and every episode you unlocked. Coins aren’t refunded when you delete, and the episodes saved on your phone are removed. The app tells you all of this again before it deletes anything.
We may pause or close an account that breaks these terms, or when the law requires it. If we close an account for breaking these terms, its coins and unlocks go with it. We never close an account that holds coins or unlocks just because it hasn’t been used.
When an account ends, the permission to use our stories ends with it. The parts of these terms that are meant to last still apply: who owns the stories, that coins have no cash value, the limits of our responsibility, and how disputes are settled.
15. As is
We work hard to keep All of Our Hearts running well. Still, the app, the site and the stories come as they are, with no promises beyond the ones in these terms, as far as the law allows. We can’t promise they’ll always be there or free of errors.
As far as the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect losses, like lost profits or data, and the most we’ll owe you for any claim is what you paid for coins in the 12 months before it, or US$100, whichever is more. Please bring any claim within one year of when it arose. Some places don’t allow some of these limits; there, they apply only as far as the law allows.
16. If your use leads to a claim
If you break these terms or the law while using All of Our Hearts, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you’ll cover our reasonable costs, including legal fees. We’ll tell you about the claim, and you won’t settle it in our name without our agreement.
A parent or guardian who agreed to these terms for someone under 18 stands behind this section for them.
17. Disputes
If something goes wrong, please talk to us first. Write to us at hello@aooh.app with what happened and what you’d like us to do, and we’ll both try in good faith to settle it for at least 30 days from when it arrives.
If we can’t, you and we agree to settle it by binding arbitration instead of in court. The American Arbitration Association runs it, under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, and the Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. It happens by video call unless the arbitrator decides otherwise, and if a hearing in person is needed, it’s held in the county where you live. We pay the fees those rules put on the business.
Disputes are settled one person at a time. You and we each give up the right to a jury trial, and to bring or join a class action, a class arbitration or any other group or representative claim.
A parent or guardian who agreed to these terms for someone under 18 stands behind this section for them.
Either of us may still take a claim to small claims court if it qualifies there, go to court over the misuse of our stories or other intellectual property, or ask a court to enforce an arbitrator’s award.
18. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we’ll update the date at the top. Before a change that matters takes effect, we’ll tell you in the app and on this site. If you keep using All of Our Hearts after that, the new terms apply. A change never reaches back to a dispute that started before it.
19. The rest
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about All of Our Hearts. If a part of them can’t be enforced, the rest still stands. If we don’t enforce a part right away, we haven’t given it up.
We may hand these terms on to anyone who takes over All of Our Hearts, and your rights under them stay the same. You can’t hand them on without our agreement. Nothing in them makes us partners, or makes us your agent or trustee, and they give no rights to anyone else.
Wherever these terms say “including” or “like”, the examples aren’t the whole list. Headings are there to help you find your way, and don’t change what the terms say. You agree that these terms, our notices and your records can reach you electronically, and that they count as being in writing.
We aren’t responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our control, like an outage at Apple or Google, or at our hosting.
If you live in California: All of Our Hearts is provided by Arc Line and North, LLC, and you can reach us at hello@aooh.app. Getting the app and using this site cost nothing. Episodes are unlocked with coins, which you buy in the app through the store you got the app from, Apple’s App Store or Google Play, as in-app purchases, at the prices shown there. The store handles the payment and any refund. You can also reach the Complaint Assistance Unit of the Division of Consumer Services of the California Department of Consumer Affairs in writing at 1625 North Market Blvd., Suite N 112, Sacramento, CA 95834, or by phone at (800) 952-5210.
